INSTALLED CAPACITY

EP Steam was contracted for the installation of 2 new coal fired boilers. In addition, EP Steam was asked to manufacture, supply and install all ladders and platforms, duct work, grit collectors, feedwater pumps and plain tubes. The boiler control system, which utilises the latest energy efficiency technology was also supplied and installed.

Tonnes Per Hour : Two x 10T/h, 18 bar coal fired boilers

Technology Used : Cochrane Engineering Sterling Mk7 S10000 boilers, with EP’s advanced control system

Funding Option : Cash purchase agreement

Location : Garankuwa, Gauteng

Commissioning Date : 2017
